“Everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”

What a difference a day makes.
This is what the sky looked like when I left my dorm this morning.
And this is what it looked like when I returned.
In between was a long, long day of frustrated effort and three weeks' impending work making itself painfully known. But at least it was beautiful outside.
Writing is how I communicate to myself, and thus to others. When I capture a thought, secure it, label it, define it, interpret it, I can finally master it. As E.M. Forster said in a completely unrelated context, "How can I know what I think until I see what I say?"
